I will review two articles: one describing pediatric cases initially diagnosed as psychosis that were ultimately found to be OCD, highlighting how intrusive thoughts with poor insight can mimic delusions; and another examining schizo-obsessive disorder, in which individuals with schizophrenia also experience comorbid OCD symptoms. The presentation will emphasize key phenomenological differences, common diagnostic pitfalls, and implications for accurate diagnosis and treatment. Speaker's Bio Jonathan Rapps, M.D., is a child and adolescent psychiatrist in private practice. He received his M.D. from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine New York State/American Program.
